SBEM (Simplified Building Energy Model)

Developed by BRE for Communities and Local Government (CLG). Carried out by fully accredited assessors to demonstrate compliance with the requirements of Part L2 of the Building Regulations for new and refurbished commercial buildings

Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) is designed for checking air tightness for commercial building. It is much more complex when compared to SAP calculations. The procedure is performed to obtain Part L2a and L2b compliance report and Energy Performance Certificates.
