Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) is designed for checking air tightness for commercial building. It is much more complex when compared to SAP calculations. The procedure is performed to obtain Part L2a and L2b compliance report and Energy Performance Certificates.

Simplifying SBEM Calculations Across the UK
